Your PC Needs To Be Repaired Windows 10 Installation Error (Solution)

Till yesterday, I was using windows 8 on my pc. I planned to upgrade to latest version of windows, which is windows 10. I tried downloading ISO files of windows 10 Technical Preview but due to my slow internet connection, It was about to take 2 hours to download the complete windows 10. So, I stopped downloading and planned to grab a disc.

Then finally, I went to market, bought the disk and came back to home. But when I started to install windows 10 through boot, it loaded for sometimes, and popped an error telling “Your PC Need To Be Repaired. The Digital Signatures For This File Couldn’t Be Verified. File: \windows\system32\winload.exe Error code: 0xc0000428”.

I looked online for sometimes, and I then tried running the disk directly from windows. It again loaded for sometimes and again popped the same error telling Error Code: 0xc0000428. This was really annoying problem for me. Here I excited to install windows 10 and it was not workingL.

I kept searching for few minutes and found a lot of solutions but among them, one solution worked for me that I am going to share with you too. So, we do have a solution to this evil problem. So let’s get started.

Your PC Needs To Be Repaired Windows 10 Installation Error (Solution)

This has been a great problem for windows 10 users. I found this error on my pc too. I override this error and finally going to share this with all of you so that you can also fix such problem. Okay! Just follow the steps below or write these steps in your note copy because you have to close everything while performing this trick. The steps are mentioned below:

First of all, insert the disk of windows 10.
Now wait until it loads.
Once the disk is properly loaded, restart your pc
Now, you need to move to boot menu. Each pc has its own settings, according to my pc, I switch to boot menu using Delete key. (Try pressing delete key continuously on pc start up, if that doesn’t work then try pressing f1 of f12 continuously during system start up)
Once you enter the boot menu
Navigate to bios settings
There you will find the time and date setting, just put the date to 2014 and save all changes
Once you keep the date as 2014, restart your pc through the installation disk
Now Windows 10 will run properly.

Note: Sometimes, you may not find date setting in bios, so keep on check other options too, you will find it.

yes when you change back to 2015, the problem again starts to appear. Unfortunately, there is no solution as far i know unless Microsoft patch their bug. However, there may exist a solution

if you have downloaded the iso version then burn it on a disk and then use that disk.... It should work

This worked for me too. I was pulling my hair trying to figure out what was wrong. Then a simple change of the date in the BIOS and I'm up and running. WHY? I have no freaking clue! Any explanation on why this works, what it's doing? Am I losing anything by doing it this way? or chalk it up to "well that's Windows for ya"...
